The National Museum of Natural History in the Second National Meeting 'Museums and sustainable development'

On 10—11 June 2013 the Second National Meeting dedicated on 'Museums and sustainable development' with topic 'Modern methods for communication with audience' took place in the National Polytechnic Museum. The museum body was widely represented by more than 100 participants from the whole country.

The forum representation was extended with members of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski', the New Bulgarian University, the National Library, etc.

The National Museum of Natural History was represented by Dr Petar Beron ('Natural history museums of Taiwan') and the PR officer of the museum, Ms Sylvia Tosheva ('Modern museum — a scene of science').

The Second National Meeting 'Museums and sustainable development' was honored by addresses from the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev and from the Minister of culture, Peter Stoyanovich.
