This is the biggest ammonite ever found in Bulgaria. This unique specimen of the species Parapuzosia daubreei is with diameter of 1,44 m and was found in 1932 by D. Zhelev in the calcareous sandstones of Ilchov Bair near Shumen. Age: Late Santonian, Late Cretaceous (about 84 million years old).
