Exhibitions — Hall 2 — Mineralogy [Composition, structure, and properties of the minerals]

The hall is situated at the first museum floor. The general processes of the crystal formation, the main physical properties of the minerals (cleavage, hardness, magnetic and electrical properties, specific gravity and optical features — lustre, colour and luminescence are presented in this hall. Some important concepts like isomorphism, polymorphism and pseudomorphism are examined, too.
