NMNHS to host a meeting of Golden Book awards presentation

In honour of the National Holiday 24 May on 21 May at 16:00, the National Museum of Natural History, Sofia will host an official meeting of Golden Book awards presentation.

The award Golden Book represents a 24-carat gold badge, made in the Mint of Bulgaria in the form of an open book. It is awarded by the European Forum of Experts in cooperation with the Academy of internationally recognised leaders in science and culture, Bulgarian intellectuals of public recognition contributing to the Bulgarian science and culture and mayors of Bulgarian cities and villages with unique cultural heritage.

Officials and guests will have the opportunity to learn about the unique collections of the National Museum of Natural History, which in 2009 celebrates 120 years since its foundation.
