The National Museum of Natural History — accessible to everyone

The National Museum of Natural History, Sofia is now accessible to everyone. In late 2009 it was equipped with an entrance ramp and mobile platform, giving access to the exhibitions and the research facilities for people with disabilities. Specially adapted bathroom is also provided.

The project was realised thanks to the financial support received by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (project 'Providing an accessible environment and adaptation of cultural, historical and sports facilities with international, national and regional interest').
