Endemic species; occurs in Serbia and Bulgaria. In Bulgaria distributed in the higher parts of Stara Planina, Rila and Pirin mountains at an altitude of 1400 (Stara Planina: Ravnets) (Franke, 1989: 136) — 2600 m (Rila: Musala) (Buresch & Tuleschkow, 1929: 220).
